Every Saturday night, from 9:00 PM, the contestants of “The Floor” come out of the “square”, conquer the “territories” of knowledge and perform in a memorable competition, where intelligence is valued. Kanal D viewers will watch an intense competition and funny challenges for the 49 brave contestants, people with different professions, of different ages and from different areas of the country, who step onto the gigantic LED floor to test their knowledge in a variety of fields, under time pressure. The grand prize is 50,000 lei and only one of the 49 will get it. We remind you that the game takes place on a spectacular stage: a huge LED floor, divided into 49 squares, hosts 49 competitors with the field chosen by each of them. The competitors duel in knowledge for the grand prize, of 50,000 lei. The prize up for grabs in each edition is 5,000 lei, and at the end of a complete game, carried out over four editions, a single competitor will win the grand prize worth 50,000 lei. The show “The Floor” is based on the successful international format of the same name, bearing the TALPA signature, and which attracts a huge and very diverse audience through the simple, easy-to-understand mechanism, through the diversity of fields, accessibility and the tension generated by time pressure.
