How to Make Curved Squeegees for Screen Printing Skateboards

In this video, we show how to make custom curved squeegees for screen printing skateboards using your own skateboard molds. We had some scrap 1/8 inch Baltic birch plywood laying around, so we glued it up and pressed it into shape. The goal was to make squeegees that match the exact concave of our decks so we can get better contact when printing. We did not want to waste veneer, and we needed these to be 10 inches wide, so chopping up an old deck was not the move. This started as an experiment, and it totally worked. If you screen print skateboards, make your own decks, or like figuring out DIY shop solutions from scraps around the yard, this one is for you. Sometimes the best tools come from just messing around and trying something new. Squeegee material used in the video: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q7XPC1R/...
