「失明」「7歳の息子の死」乗り越えて “盲目の先生” 竹内昌彦さん　多くの人を救ってきた「命の言葉」【RSKドキュメンタリー】

[Winner of the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association Award, Excellence Award in the Youth Programming Category] Masahiko Takeuchi (70), former vice principal of Okayama Prefectural Okayama School for the Blind, has been giving lectures across the country for 20 years, since his time in office. He has given a total of 2,000 lectures. He has spoken about his feelings for his parents, who supported him through his blindness, and his eldest son, who died at a young age. He has also expressed his appreciation for the "meaning of life" and "preciousness of life," which he has felt throughout his life. Those who were deeply moved by his lectures have begun work on a film adaptation of Takeuchi's life story, hoping to share his way of life with more people. The film is nearing completion and scheduled for release in March. The program will look back on Takeuchi's life through his moving lectures and explore the meaning of "What I Can See Because I Can't See," as the film's title suggests.
