Under these circumstances, some are wondering if outdoor learning—yes, outdoors, in the fresh air—should be developed. This is a common practice in Germany, Austria, and Denmark. Closer to home, in Switzerland, there's an open-air daycare center that operates year-round, even in winter. This report was filmed last February.
