JICA's Cooperation in the Port Sector（Digest）

This video introduces JICA's projects in the developing countries on port development, operation and maintenance management. It offers some examples of JICA's consistent cooperation from upstream to downstream, such as "planning," "construction," and "operation and maintenance management." Training courses in Japan are also introduced, as part of the human resource development of JICA's cooperation. Action plans prepared by the course participants themselves shall become the foundation when planning further development of ports in their own countries. With over 70 years in the field of international cooperation, JICA utilizes its rich knowledge and experience to provide long-term cooperation that stands by the conditions of its partner countries.
