21 DEAD! SCHOOL TRIP TRAGEDY! WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

Uganda is mourning after a devastating road accident claimed the lives of 21 pupils and staff from King David Junior School, Ndejje, during a study tour to Sipi Falls. What was meant to be an exciting educational trip ended in unimaginable tragedy, leaving families, classmates, and the entire nation in deep sorrow. In this video, we take a detailed and balanced look at everything that is currently known about the accident. We examine the official briefing by the Minister of Education, who confirmed that the school has 936 learners, with 217 pupils traveling in four vehicles—two buses and two smaller vehicles. One bus carrying 107 pupils was involved in the fatal crash, resulting in 21 confirmed deaths, including five members of staff, among them the school's director, who was known for personally accompanying students on every study tour. We also discuss the response by government leaders, including the nationwide suspension of school study tours, the medical evacuation of injured pupils to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, and the support provided by Hon. David Sserukenya through three ambulances to transport the injured back to Kampala.
