The Last Dinner Party at Brooklyn Paramount, Brooklyn NY, USA, 26 April 2026

/ @whyhunger   WhyHunger is teaming up with the amazing UK rock band, The Last Dinner Party, to raise funds for access to nutritious food. We’re looking for volunteers to table for us at upcoming shows around the country, selling ribbons to their fans. All proceeds go to WhyHunger, and volunteers get to enjoy a great show. Volunteers need to be there an hour before the show, and stay until after venue close and fans have left, in order to maximize donations. If you’re interested, check out the tour dates and locations and fill out the volunteer sign-up form on the WhyHunger website. (sorry, YT doesn't allow me to link any longer) Volunteers will receive an email from WhyHunger and the band with further details after signing up. We’re looking for 3 volunteers at every show – encourage your friends to sign up with you!    / @warchilduk   War Child UK: War Child is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict. And they have a lounge inspired by and named after one of the GREATEST musical artists of ALL TIME, The First Lady of Song, The Queen of Jazz, Lady Ella Fitzgerald!!!!! I could've stayed in the lounge all night. I was hoping I'd be able to see the show from there, but it is closed off to the main viewing area. We tried to go back after the show, but unfortunately it was off-limits due to a private engagement. I'm guessing the band was hanging out and must've forgot to add us to the guest list? Hopefully, the piano that was inside was put to good use for some slightly drunken sing-a-longs. https://www.brooklynparamount.com/ https://www.brooklynparamount.com/visit    / @ellafitzgerald   Phone/camera/recording issues still on-going, sorry!
