Russia has deployed its largest nuclear warship in the Arctic Circle as Russian President Vladimir Putin pushes for increased military presence in the North Pole. Admiral Nakhimov is a 28,000 tonne warship that will now patrol off the coasts of Greenland, Iceland, the United Kingdom and Norway as it will travel through the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea. Along with this warship, Russia has also deployed 6 nuclear submarines in the Arctic circle. To match the deployments, NATO has deployed additional troops and fighter jets in Norway, Sweden and Greenland.
