Hwang Hyunjin (황현진), born March 20, 2000 in Seoul, is a multi-talented South Korean artist, renowned as a rapper, dancer, singer-songwriter, and composer under JYP Entertainment. He gained widespread recognition as a member of the boy group Stray Kids and is also part of its unofficial subunit, Danceracha. His journey to stardom began unexpectedly when he was scouted by JYP Entertainment during a shopping trip with his mother in his middle school years. Despite having no previous experience in music or dance, he became a trainee and honed his skills over two years. His passion for dance flourished as he learned from senior trainees, eventually enrolling in the prestigious School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) to study various dance techniques. On October 12, 2017, JYP Entertainment officially revealed him to the public, unveiling his name and photo, while announcing his participation in the survival show Stray Kids. His role would encompass both rap and dance, showcasing his versatility.
