Rising from the Ashes: A new temple in Provo
A beloved house of worship, a community landmark and now a temple. The Provo Tabernacle has always been the heart of Provo where people attended stake conferences, graduations, concerts and even interfaith services for more than a century. And those special experiences and memories in the Tabernacle created a strong bond with many Latter-day Saints. When the Tabernacle caught fire on a cold and icy December morning, the community was heartbroken with the loss of the historic edifice.
