The biggest challenge was the factory rivets securing the pivot to the control arm. The manufacturer planned to drill or grind them off during replacement, which can significantly prolong the repair. I show: ✔️ how to remove a worn pivot, ✔️ how to remove the factory rivets, ✔️ which tools were most useful, ✔️ what to watch out for when installing the new part, ✔️ and whether it's worth replacing just the pivot or the entire control arm.
