This lifeline was colored grey and became Line-9 of the DMRC. But, fun fact—if we include the Airport Express Line and Rapid Metro (which are now part of DMRC), technically, it should be Line-11, inaugurated between Dwarka and Najafgarh. But hey, that’s a debate for another day! Today, I’m here to show my love for the shortest metro line as it completes 5 glorious years of service! On 18th September 2021, the Grey Line was extended from Najafgarh to Dhansa Bus Stand. The magnificent Hyundai-Rotem (H-R) trains, also seen on the Pink and Magenta Lines, operate on this route. On the occasion of the Grey Line completing 5 years, I present to you the full journey of Delhi Metro’s Shortest Line – Line-9, the Grey Line, from Dwarka to Dhansa Bus Stand! We’ll kick off our journey from Nawada on the Blue Line (Line-3/4), heading toward Dwarka, where we’ll deboard and make the switch to the Grey Line. I’ll guide you through the entire interchange route, right up to Platform 5, where we’ll board the metro bound for Dhansa Bus Stand, covering the full stretch of this unique line. Once we reach Dhansa Bus Stand, I’ll take you through the station, sharing some interesting details along the way. After that, we’ll hop back on the metro from Platform 2, heading all the way back to Dwarka. And yeah, I know I’m a few days late to share this journey, but come on, it’s not that late.
