Early spring hike at Frontenac Provincial Park — April 9, 2026

In this week's video, join me on a hike of the Dedication Trail North Loop at Frontenac Provincial Park. The ice is gradually coming off the water, spring birds are returning, and even a few reptiles have made their way out to bask. I'm still learning the quirks of getting the volume just right on my music segments and playing with the fade in and out. This video might not be perfect, but I'm learning more with each one I post! My hope is to get a new video out every week, so sometimes I opt for done over perfect. Thank you for joining me on this adventure as I navigate and dust off my video editing skills. Music in this video: "Canadian Shield," "Warmer Season," and "Wolf," © Meredith Luce 2013 (SOCAN/ASCAP). ----- For more information on Frontenac Provincial Park: https://www.ontarioparks.ca/park/fron... Frontenac is a Natural Environment class park, established in the 1970s. This park has extensive rugged trails, canoe routes, and backcountry camping. There is a small but enjoyable visitor's centre with a picnic area, washrooms, and a boat launch. There is no car (front country) camping at this park.
