I Think I Got the Wrong City Escape...

This is an alternate extended MJ-style cover of "Escape From the City" from Sonic Adventure 2. For this version, I rebuilt the song with my own instrumental direction using acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and light synth / effect work. It keeps the spirit of the original song, but it is not a one-to-one cover. The arrangement, vocal direction, pacing, and overall feel were shaped into my own version. This take is slightly less MJ-heavy than my previous version, but it still has a Michael Jackson-inspired vocal direction. The first part uses my own lyrics, then the cover moves into the original lyrics later in the song. The vocals were sung by me and shaped with RVC vocal processing to bring the final tone closer to an MJ-inspired style. This is not original Michael Jackson audio and not an official Sonic release.
