This is the second revision since the draft was released in 2011. According to this, the Yongsan Park site will expand by 570,000 square meters, from 2.43 million square meters to 3 million square meters. This is because the former Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) site and military apartment complex sites will be incorporated into the park boundary, and the National Museum of Korea, Yongsan Family Park, and the War Memorial of Korea will be incorporated into the park area. Green space will be created to ecologically connect Namsan Mountain and Yongsan Park. Furthermore, buildings with historical and cultural value, such as the former Marine Corps Headquarters, will be preserved and utilized for cultural and artistic programs. However, the U.S. military's Dragon Hill Hotel and heliport, located in the center of the park, were not included in this plan. The opening schedule for Yongsan Park has also been revised.
