I didnt even realise it went out that far as we were 3km off shore. Caught the biggest scallop I have ever caught which was nice. 147 mm. The sea life is a close second with many species to be seen such as: Crayfish, Lobster, Brown crab, Spider crab, Hermit crab, Bass, Pollack, Bream, Wrasse, Turbot, Brill, Sole, Top knot, Blonde Ray, Conger, Gurnard, Monkfish, Cuckoo wrasse, Mackerel, Octopus, Cuttlefish, Squid, Starfish, Scallops, Clams, Oyster, Hard coral and soft, Seaweeds, Gobies, Blenny’s, and many more. Maritime structures also get researched and explored such as lighthouses, piers, forts, caves and reefs. Guernsey life is relaxed and has a long and strong connection with the sea.
