Over 2,000 years ago, the India-Myanmar trade route began, and now it's re-emerging, connecting India and mainland Southeast Asia with the modern lifestyles of the people along the way. Spirit of Asia continues its exploration of the India-Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Highway. Starting from Mandalay, one of Myanmar's largest trading centers, we'll follow the journey of goods from across the country to the border trade area of ​​Tamu, near India. Along the way, we'll meet villagers along the way who have transformed their knowledge and resources into products for trade, creating opportunities for their own income. We'll also learn about the stories of Myanmar's Nepalese ancestors, whose ancestors immigrated to Myanmar during the World War II era and were key traders along the trade route. They all look forward to the road's completion, bringing prosperity to their homeland, enabling them to keep pace with the ever-expanding opportunities of international trade at the local level.
