Geometry Interfaces :: Drawing Techniques :: Tracking Points, Lines, and Fields

In this video we will put our drafting workspace into action as we begin our journey into Geometry Interfaces. The most basic element of drawing with projected geometry is the Point. Points mark locations and emerge from intersections. By tracking points through space we can create rich visual fields, complex organization, and 2D+3D representations of our designs. This exercise is adapted from Sol LeWitt as instructions for playing with lines. Starting with points to measure rhythm we can extend lines to map horizontal and vertical connections. Layers of density and the int5roduction of diagonals create visual hierarchy. Draw well.
