Only a dozen or so intact Song Dynasty "oil-spot" Tenmoku tea bowls are known to exist; notably, oil-spot bowls are included among the ceramics officially designated as National Treasures in Japan. Mr. Dai Zhongren (host of the program *National Treasure Archives*) and Mr. Xiao Fuyuan (of Soka Art Center) have admired the exquisite beauty of Song Dynasty Jian ware oil-spot bowls; the oil-spot bowl in my own collection, for instance, emits a brilliant blue-green sheen. Later, he collaborated with C.T. Loo, a prominent antique merchant in Shanghai, serving as an antique supplier in China. This partnership enabled C.T. Loo to introduce Chinese antiques to Europe, establishing him as one of the most influential dealers of his era. Cai Baochun also served as the company's accountant.
