BYD’s luxury sub-brand Yangwang has officially opened presales in China for its new Yangwang U8L, a full-size extended-range electric SUV. Estimated to start at 1.3 million yuan (around 181,130 USD), the U8L is often called the “Chinese Rolls-Royce Cullinan” due to its commanding presence and ultra-luxurious design. Launched under the Yangwang brand, which debuted in January 2023, the original U8 SUV was its first model, priced from 1,089,000 yuan (approximately 151,740 USD). The new Yangwang U8L builds on that success, offering a larger, more premium version of the standard U8 with enhanced space, comfort, and technology.
