In May 2006, Daimler Chrysler launched the new Chrysler 300C with two engines: a V6 and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Daimler patented a V6, and our response was, "Let me know when you patent a V8; that's the one I'm interested in testing." They never called. Three years passed, the new 2009 model arrived, and only then were we able to get behind the wheel of the real 300C, the V8. We spent five days in Mar del Plata during the winter of 2009 for this test of the best American sedan reviewed by AUTO AL DÍA.
