The Mariner Podcast Ep.9: Racing to Cape Horn

In this episode I get to the exciting conclusion of my transit across the Southern Ocean in my Open 60 Spartan. After ending up 500Nm behind the fleet I had to screw my courage to the sticking place and start to push harder than I had ever pushed before. Slowly but surely I start to close the gap as I hammer South and East to Cape Horn. Very soon however it becomes clear that catching up might not be my only problem- my arrival at Cape Horn is going to coincide with a 50 Knot Storm.
