Helle - The Knife's Journey
Helle - The Knife's Journey documents the making and crafting of Helle knives at their factory in Holmedal, Norway. Helle knives are hand made by craftsmen and can involve up to 45 manual steps to complete. This video documents Helle's use of wood and steel, the assembly, shaping, polishing and packaging of their knives, as well as the making and sewing of sheaths. Helle's knives are made to be used in the woods for hunting, or for bushcraft, on the ocean for fishing, around the farm, or when camping or hiking. Helle - The Knife's Journey tells the story of the land, people, and processes involved in making these beautiful and functional knives. Young & MacKenzie Distribution is the exclusive distributor of Helle knives in Canada. Visit their website at http://www.youngandmackenzie.ca/helle for a full list of retailers across Canada.
