Meet Primo Beef, grass-fed and Woodland-raised. 🐄 This week as part of our Cultivating Clark County farmers spotlight series (funded by a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant and created in partnership with Riparian Media) we're featuring Primo Beef Co, a family farm raising grass-fed beef in the farmlands of Woodland, where the Columbia and Lewis Rivers meet in an area locally known as "the Bottoms." Folks have been farming and raising livestock there for well over 100 years, and Primo Beef carries that legacy with a simple philosophy: keep it sustainable, keep it simple, keep it affordable. They specialize in beef boxes and large shares, but you'll also find individual cuts from tongue to oxtail, a paleo blend of ground beef, heart, and liver, plus smoked products like summer sausage, beef grillers, kielbasa, and bratwurst.
