EPILOGUE OF ENDINGS [PILOT]

In this world, the sun split open like an egg, introducing the galaxy to five ancient beasts made to rule the stars. ​During the apocalypse, a 12 year old Lucy is traveling with a chatty soldier named Blu and her robotic nanny CG. When exploring a ruined city, the group finds Mole, a timid subway motorman with no memory of who he once was. At Lucy’s insistence, they bring him along with their team, ready to face the wasteland together. This video was produced by JoyBott Animation! https://joybottanimation.weebly.com/ ____________________ Given the fact that this project had little to no budget, an insanely short production window, and it was created entirely by students? I think we did an awesome job! This was originally a series of short stories I wrote for class. After growing attached to the characters, I teamed up with two of my friends from Welcome to Dreamworld to bring the story to life! We launched a Kickstarter to raise the funds we’d need for the animation, hoping to earn minimum wage, and it completely flopped. Thus, we created a second Kickstarter to raise money for the audio instead, hoping to pay ourselves for the animation with any additional funds we made later. As soon as we secured funding, we picked up a few fellow art students to help with the animation, and we were off! The entire pilot was created in the span of roughly 3 months. This was because we could only afford to work on the project over summer break, since the majority of the team (including me) are students who needed to go back to school at the end of summer. If anything, this pilot is a labor of love. I am incredibly proud of the team behind this project.
