Formeln allgemein umstellen: Beispiele für Flächeninhalt und Umfang von Figuren | How to Mathe

Video overview at https://howtomathe.de In this video, we convert the formulas for the area (and, if applicable, perimeter) of rectangles, squares, triangles, trapezoids, and circles. All the important, basic steps for general formula conversions already appear in the examples chosen here and can also be applied to other formulas (e.g., for solids). To make this all clear at a glance, this is a somewhat longer video. Note at 10:40: If you first calculate 2, then on the right-hand side you have the sum a+c times height h, and then parentheses MUST be written again, i.e., 2A = (a+c)*h. If we first calculate :h, we don't need these parentheses, because a+c is then part of a fraction and stands alone in the next step after *2. Therefore, it's more sensible to start with :h as in the video, because then you can't forget any parentheses. 00:00 Introduction 00:32 Rectangle Area 01:55 Rectangle Perimeter 03:55 Square Area 04:34 Square Perimeter 05:04 Triangle Area 06:21 Trapezoid Area with respect to h 09:59 Trapezoid Area with respect to a 12:20 Circle Area 13:20 Circle Perimeter 14:29 Summary
