Which Scrambler? | Royal Enfield Bear 650 v Triumph Scrambler 400XC

Two bikes about the same price but which is the best, which would you choose? The Triumph 400XC is light nimble and feels quick. The Interceptor Bear 650 is 30kg heavier but comes with more power. The first thing you notice when switching from one to the other is that massive weight difference but with that weight comes more stability. The Bear feels more like a motorcycle and the Triumph feels more like a toy. Off road, the Triumph is way easier to handle and feels more like it’s built for some off roading. The Bear can do it but it is more of a handful. On the road, for me, the Bear is the better handling of the two, even with the cheaper tyres. The suspension on the 400XC is far better than that of the Bear but the Bear suspicion does seem to work well if you don’t mind some discomfort on the harsh bumpy roads. I think it is a case of each to their own, some like their scrambled eggs runny and others prefer them firmer.
