Massed Bands of the Scottish Division 1977
Archive montage of the Massed Pipes and Drums and Military Bands of the Scottish Division. Beating Retreat at Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh, for the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. At the time each regiment had a military band, a pipes and drums, and drummers were required to play the bugle. The Highland regiments also maintained Highland Dancing teams.
