Stretchy wrap - seated sideways - Izmi Baby wrap

Generally, an upright, tummy-to-tummy position is recommended for carrying a newborn in a stretchy wrap. This is likely to be the easiest position to achieve safely and comfortably for both you and baby. This video shows an alternative method for using a stretchy wrap - demonstrated with an Izmi Baby wraps and a newborn-sized demo doll. Izmi Baby wraps are available to purchase via my website (see below) This position can be helpful if there are requirements for baby not to be in a tummy-to-tummy position; possible reasons include surgery to baby's stomach, if baby has severe reflux and finds tummy to tummy positions uncomfortable, or if parent is in a wheelchair. Before carrying a baby with additional needs, please check with your Health Care Practitioner. This method of using the Izmi Baby wrap is not in the Izmi Baby wrap instructions.
