Why I video my skiing any chance I get

I use video to help guide my skiing as much as possible. The reason is it gives you a chance to compare FEEL vs REAL. Being able to see exactly what you did right after you did it allows you a chance to compare feelings and also decide on what you will change for next run. For some skiers comfortable with their skiing it can provide motivation to keep pushing to new heights because what at first may feel wrong can actually show up as seeing new positive things happening. For others it can help give a true reality of how much they think they are doing something. Many times we feel we are doing something fast or with a certain amplitude only to find out it’s nothing like that on video. Either way I encourage you to use video whenever possible especially when learning new things because it helps speed up the improvement process. Aside from taking video, knowing what tasks and drills to work on to help improve your skiing is another key element to getting better. I have built the biggest technique library on the internet for skiers that want to get better. You can gain access to a free tutorial, the kind I don’t put on YouTube right here https://bigpictureskiing.com/yt/154-s...
