In this sermon excerpt, Karl-Hermann Kauffmann gives us hope that we can resist the attacks of this world through God's strength. Only with our Lord Jesus Christ can we remain steadfast. All the problems we see in Germany and in the world are connected to our sin and the dark forces behind it. Politics, the economy, and even interpersonal relationships are influenced by these factors. Through, for example, terrible deceptions like Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, people are told that they are merely a product of chance and that no spiritual powers influence reality. We are in the end times. Unfortunately, the church in Germany, for the most part, no longer addresses the most important points. We must repent and need forgiveness for our sins. Godlessness leads to God's judgment. This is evident in society in this country. People numb themselves with superficial things like football or mindless TV shows and sleepwalk their way to their own ruin. According to the Bible, the Antichrist system will come. Uncontrolled migration, with refugees predominantly of the Islamic faith, escalating religious conflicts, wars like Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, Iran's war against Syria, or Ukraine's war against Russia with the threat of NATO intervention, and gender/LGBTQ/transgender/rainbow politics are fueling heated debates within the population. Unfortunately, the German government and political establishment are only moderately addressing these challenges. Politicians often fail to focus on the pressing problems, and vicious attacks on their political opponents have become commonplace. Germany is also internally divided. The end is coming.
