How To Make A DIY Dripper For Your Chameleon (Less Than $7)

This video shows how to make an adjustable dripper to help keep your pet chameleon (or other arboreal reptile) hydrated. A dripper can be useful, but I strongly recommend investing in an automated misting system as your primary hydration source. Chronic kidney damage from long-term dehydration is irreversible. A quality misting system (like MistKing, which retails for around $200) costs about the same as a single emergency vet visit—and that’s before paying for any treatment, so the vet bill will be much higher. Skimping on proper hydration will cost far more in the long run, both for you and your pet. My advice: use a dripper in addition to a misting system, not instead of one.
