My First BJJ Tournament
My first ever jiu-jitsu competition! I competed in both Gi (167.5 lbs) and No-Gi (163.5 lbs) at the 2022 Valley BJJ Open in the White Belt division. I weighed in for both divisions (2 hours apart) and had 3 matches in each division. If you are thinking about competing in your first BJJ competition - stop thinking about it and sign up! It will be a positive experience regardless of the outcome. I still have so much to learn so stay tuned for more BJJ content.
