05 dodge Dakota suicide door stuck FIX

Forums will tell you to cut your door panel. Dealerships say you need a $200+ cable assembly. I'm here to tell you otherwise. In the video I show how to remove enough of the door panel to get the door to open and then fix the problem. I ordered the new cable caps from OK MARKETPLACE on eBay for $16. Search "Dakota suicide door repair kit". Tools needed include.. A ratchet with an extension. A t45 for the 2 seatbelt bolts. A t27 for the 2 door handle bolts. A 10mm socket for the four top latch bolts. A Phillips screw driver for the 6 screws in the door panel and the 2 in the seatbelt trim piece. A knife and needle nose pliers for cutting and removing the old cable caps.
