The highest toll expressway in Guizhou, China - Yinxi Expressway - 4K

Yinjiang–Xishui Expressway, abbreviated as "Yinxi Expressway," is a vital highway in Guizhou Province, China. It connects Yinjiang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County in Tongren City with Xishui County in Zunyi City, serving as a crucial part of Guizhou's expressway network. Composed of multiple segments, the Yinxi Expressway includes the Dejiang-Wuchuan segment, which opened earlier. This segment starts from Qianjia Township in the northwest of Dejiang County, connects with the Yanhe-Dejiang Expressway, passes through Nangan, Fengle, Longdeng and other places, and ends at Yujiawan in the southwest of Wuchuan County, where it connects with the Wuchuan-Zheng'an Expressway. With a total length of 40.69 kilometers, it is designed for a speed of 80 km/h and has a subgrade width of 24.5 meters, adhering to a two-way four-lane expressway standard. On October 27, 2021, the S10 Yinxi Expressway (Dejiang-Wuchuan segment) officially opened to traffic. This has significantly reduced travel time between Dejiang and Wuchuan, further narrowed the spatial distance between cities in the Wuling Mountain area and Chongqing, and become an important and fast passage for northeastern Guizhou to integrate into the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone and access the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone. In addition, the Yinxi Expressway also includes other segments such as the Zheng'an-Xishui segment, which together form a complete expressway corridor between Yinjiang and Xishui. The Zheng'an-Xishui Expressway starts from the Sanjiang Hub Interchange in Zheng'an County, Zunyi City, and ends at the Yiwanshui Hub Interchange in Xishui County, with a total length of 130.374 kilometers. It is also a two-way four-lane expressway designed for a speed of 80 km/h. We drove the Zheng'an County to Xishui County section of the Yinxi Expressway, covering a total distance of 181 kilometers with a toll of 159 yuan, equivalent to about 0.87 yuan per kilometer. By comparison, most expressways in China charge 0.5 yuan per kilometer for small vehicles.
