RANDONNEURING BASICS - Ride Along! - What to Expect: Packing, Dressing, Eating and Riding!

Winters in Wisconsin are long and stupid and I pretty much hate being alive in January and February, so I try to plan a bike trip somewhere awesome to mix things up a bit. This year I made it to BEAUTIFUL San Francisco and registered for the season kick off 112k Point Reyes Populaire with the SF Randonneurs - which has to be the biggest randonneuring club in the US. With over 100 riders at the start, this was by far the best attendance I've ever seen for any RUSA event. The route was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of hills and distance for my cold and weak Wisconsin legs. This video starts in my motel room in the morning and ends by throwing my bike in the back of my rental car.
