Norway Travel Vlog Day 02 | Reindeer Sled | Sami Experience | Northern Lights | Sorrisniva Ice Hotel

After spending the night at Sorrisniva's Arctic Wilderness Lodge we go Reindeer Sledding to a Sami Lavvu (tent) and learn about the Sami Culture, take a tour around the Ice Hotel and then go on a Northern Lights hunt. We finish the day sleeping in the Ice Hotel in a wonderful themed suite. Alta is the most populated municipality in Finnmark in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Alta. Some of the main villages in the municipality include Kåfjord, Komagfjord, Kvenvik, Langfjordbotn, Leirbotn, Rafsbotn, Talvik, and Tverrelvdalen. The Sami continue their traditional semi-nomadic lifestyle based around their very own reindeer herds. The Hunting the Northern Lights experience offers the opportunity to join an expert guide and be driven along the coast or up onto the inland plateau searching for the best location to view the Borealis. The Northern Lights are allusive and sometimes can be seen from different locations whilst not from others on the same evening. Experience the Igloo Hotel - the worlds northernmost ice hotel, built every winter with different art themes. The Igloo Hotel structure and all of its furniture and art is crafted by local sculptors using natural ice and snow.
