The Pinkerton Thugs - Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Shit 7" EP [1996]
Debut 7" EP of the Maine punk band The Pinkerton Thugs. Originally released in 1996 on the band's own Police Records with a black and white photocopied sleeve, later re-issued by Illinois-based V.M.L Records with this cardboard, color sleeve. In their original incarnation (Micah Smalldone, James Whitten, and Paul Russo), the Pinkerton Thugs would go on to release two full-length albums and be an influential part of the Boston streetpunk revival of the 1990s. Since then, Paul Russo has re-formed the band without Smaldone or Whitten, and Smaldone has released several solo records under his given name (Micah Blue Smaldone) and contributed to works by other artists.
