Ingot mold for Tally Ho’s internal ballast lead.
This video is about the making of a prototype ingot mold for Tally Ho's internal ballast lead. There is around 300 ingots of two types to cast and install in the boat so there will need to be multiple molds made of each type to speed up the casting process. I'll make another video of the final shape when we get to that point but for now I just need to get this one built and in the mail to Leo. The second ingot shape is a simple flat pan style but both molds will be made to yield an ingot of around 120 cubic inches and right around 50 pounds each. Rounding up in metric it would be about 2000 cubic centimeters and 23kg. As always, thanks for watching and if your'e new here I hope you stick around for more. -Jake #tallyho
