My Indigenous Wife Cooks Tribal Food For Me
At 22 years old, I came back to my home country of Ecuador to reconnect with the Amazon jungle where I was raised and spend time around the people and culture that shaped me growing up. In this video, my wife shows me parts of everyday life in the Amazon that would completely shock most Americans — from traditional jungle food and cooking to the reality of living deep in nature. This isn’t tourism to me. This is home. Coming back here has reminded me how different life feels outside of modern cities and constant consumerism. We explore the jungle, meet locals, cook traditional meals, and experience authentic life in the Ecuadorian Amazon. My goal with these videos is to share the culture authentically while documenting my own journey reconnecting with my roots. If you enjoy travel videos, jungle adventures, culture shock content, and real experiences from the Amazon, subscribe and come along for the journey.
