BUELL BLAST, REMOVING GAS TANK, CHANGING SPARK PLUG, CLEANING CARBURETOR WITH SEA FOAM

Sea foam is a good way to clean your carburetor with out taking it off or apart. I was having fuel problems where i had old gas and my bike was running like shit and would always cut off. Since i didn't know if i was gonna have to take the carburetor off, i found out how to remove fuel tank, and change spark plug so i could pin-point the problem. Taking the tank off is a good way of removing old fuel and also the fuel filter. The fuel filter on a Buell Blast is inside the tank connected to the petcock. I poured a mixture of 50/50 into a container for the fuel filter to soak overnight. Also i poured the mixture directly into the fuel line that goes to carburetor so it would soak in the float bowl, and i left it in there overnight. The next day it took me awhile to start, just because the fuel had to run back through the carburetor. But after idling and revving it up, she ran just like brand new. You can get SEA FOAM and auto zone.
