Beyond Dreams: Matias Corea's Journey
Matias Corea, a product designer, co-founder of Behance, motorcycle enthusiast, and owner of Myth Motors, has been passionate about motorcycles since growing up in Barcelona. After Matias sold Behance to Adobe and left Adobe two years later, he experienced the loss of his older sister, Soledad. This profound event led him to realize that life is too short to merely dream about the things you desire. Inspired by this realization, he decided to embark on a motorcycle journey from Brooklyn to Ushuaia, Argentina, with his best friend Joel. Following that adventure, he set off on another trip to Africa. When he completed his travels, Matias decided to fulfill his childhood dream by purchasing a Ferrari 328 GTS, a car he had always admired for its design and aesthetics as a designer. Spending the day with Matias and listening to him speak passionately about design, simplicity, and analog machines—especially those he works on in his Brooklyn garage—is both fascinating and inspiring. We are very excited to share this piece on Matias.
