Making a Chisel Mallet from Pallet Wood

Learn with me as I make a chisel mallet from pallet wood. Pallet wood can be a great material, especially for shop tools. In this video I take the stringer from a pallet, cut it into pieces, and laminate them together to make a mallet head. I make a handle from the same material, chisel a mortise in the head, drive the handle into the mortise, and shape the mallet to my liking. I finish the mallet off with a few coats of shellac.
