LASODA International Children's Day Celebration 2026

Today, I spent time encouraging Michelle to get up from the bed by herself. It wasn't about how fast she could do it. It wasn't about perfection either. It was about giving her the opportunity to try. Every attempt strengthens her confidence. Every little movement builds her independence. Every day of practice brings us one step closer to another milestone. As parents of children with special needs, it's easy to want to do everything for our children because we love them. But sometimes, the greatest gift we can give them is the chance to try, even if it takes longer than expected. Progress may be slow, but slow progress is still progress. I'm so proud of Michelle for never giving up, and I'm learning to celebrate every small victory along the way. 💜 What may seem like a simple task to many is a huge milestone in our journey.
