UTV Club Fall Ride with Kawartha ATV Association | KATVA | Season Closing Ride 2025

What was supposed to be a beautiful fall trail ride in Ontario turned into one wild off-road adventure! Our UTV Club joined the official Season Closing Ride with the Kawartha ATV Association in Fall 2025, and the turnout was amazing — dozens of ATVs and side-by-sides hitting the trails together for one last big ride of the season. The ride was originally rated as an intermediate trail ride, which made it perfect for riders who already have some experience but still want a fun challenge. It’s also a great type of ride for people who are just starting their off-road journey with an ATV or side-by-side and want to meet others in the community. But Mother Nature decided to make things interesting… Part way through the ride the weather changed fast — rain started pouring, then came hail, and even snow ❄️🌧️. The trails quickly turned slick, muddy, and much more technical, turning what was supposed to be a relaxed fall ride into a real Ontario off-road challenge. Mud, water, steep sections, and unpredictable weather made this ride one to remember! Despite the crazy conditions, the atmosphere was incredible. Great people, great machines, and true off-road spirit. This is exactly what the ATV and UTV community in Ontario is all about — helping each other on the trail, sharing the adventure, and enjoying the outdoors. 🙏 A huge thank you to the Kawartha ATV Association and all the amazing volunteers who organized and supported this ride. Events like this take a lot of work behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into keeping these rides safe, fun, and possible for everyone.
