Our first chapter of the Alumni series 2021-2022 features Serena Mak from the class of 2004, who majored in Global Business and Management of Organizations. Working in a consumer finance company named Home Credit, Serena puts great emphasis on the purpose of her job. Rather than making a career merely out of hard skills and knowledge, she is intrigued by the possibilities of contributing to society and making a profound difference. She prides herself in mobilising the general public to work towards a future with sustainable financing. Serena shares that one should always embrace their authentic self, for one will never know how far it would lead them.
