💛 Do you feel stress, tension, or restlessness in your body? In this yin yoga for stress and relaxation (40 minutes), I help you release tension and experience peace in your body and mind again. This gentle flow focuses on areas where we often store tension, such as your shoulders, back, and pelvis, so that your nervous system can calm down and you can relax more deeply. Are you experiencing the following symptoms particularly often during these times: stress, physical tension, mental restlessness, anxiety, panic attacks, and perhaps even a bit of depression? Know that this is completely normal in these turbulent times, where a great deal of fear and unrest is also being sown from higher positions. Collectively, it can be felt everywhere, and because our survival instinct gives us a great need for certainty, it is not surprising that we feel extra uncertainty during times like these. Sometimes it is not so much about what happens in the outside world, but rather how we deal with it from within. For me personally, when it comes to stress, whether internal or external, I am always invited to come closer to myself. Stress, restlessness, panic, hyperventilation, depression, and physical illnesses are therefore signals from the body itself to let you know that you are allowed to listen to yourself, take better care of yourself, and are invited or challenged to change. In this Yin slow flow, we will slow down, soften, and feel. To do this, we will use holds for the shoulders, spine, and pelvic area—three areas that are strained and palpable during times of stress. We hold the poses for approximately 10-20 breaths so that we can use the breath flow as a kind of lubricant to help you feel freer and more relaxed again.
