Boss RE-202, Strymon Volante, Line 6 DL4 MkII [Likes, Dislikes & Which Should You Buy?]

Welcome to the show! In this episode we pick up from last week’s show where we had a good listen to Boss’s RE-202, RE-2 and RE-20 Space Echoes… against the real-deal RE-201. While that’s all very interesting and everything, perhaps the bigger question on people’s lips is: Should I buy the RE-202 or the Strymon Volante, given that both units are four-head tape (and drum) simulation echo/delay machines? Aaaaand, seeing as Line 6 has also just dropped the DL4 MkII too, what about that? Now then, this is not an exhaustive deep dive on features – if you want that please check out the companies’ own demos, or indeed those they’ve had done by demoing third parties.
