Herdla Fort | Flyplassen som var så kritisk for okkupasjonsmakten under wwii
Fortress Norway Herdla Coastal Fortress the most important airfield for the Germans in the beginning of wwii It protected the City of Bergen that is Norway second largest city. Herdla Fortress had view on the ocean and the path leading to Bergen from Herdla and with all of the other coastal fortresses in the west of Norway they where protected but offcourse history tells different eventually. The German war machine built and reinforced constantly all the way up to 7 of may 1945 it has been said. They believed in the cause to the end. The POW had to suffer for this cause and we have to remember all of them who fell while they where pow as weel as all who sacrifised their life for our freedom. 7h of filming 58gig of clips and 12h editing and sorting out the clips. Still i had more material and could have filmed more in that great area of content of war history. Caves, bunkers and more. #FortressNorway #Norwaywwii #bergen
