Up first is Sephiroth's Theme from Final Fantasy VII, known as One Winged Angel. The version I'm hearing today is from the Advent Children film soundtrack, published in 2005. I was completely blown away by the compositional brilliance in this work. Uematsu’s blend of orchestral and heavy metal instruments is cohesive and intertwined. This is a great ride!
